We talk a lot about side projects and we are generally just to busy to execute the ideas properly. I was filming an NTPA event at Benson, North Carolina when Peyton Davis, his brother John T, and myself had this conversation about doing a reality farming TV show. I really had never done anything like this, but how bad could I possibly be at it. Lost cameras check, drone fly away check, no sound on critical cameras check!
What happened was we got some decent footage that will consist of a six-episode season. Depending on how the series is received will guide the direction of filming going forward. I have a nice plan for this first season and I really do think viewers will enjoy it. This means a lot of learning for me as I only grew up with horses and cattle on my family's small 12 acre farm in Alabama.
